A fruitarian diet may consist of “culinary “ fruits or the sweet and fleshy ones such as apples, bananas, melons, pears and oranges as well as “botanical” fruits like beans, berries, cucumbers, pumpkins, tomatoes, squash or seed-containing reproductive parts of flowering plants. Certain kinds of fruits that need its roots removed from the ground like carrots and potatoes cannot be eaten.
